Between vacation, end-of-year projects, the coming holidays, and other hysteria, I haven’t come up with an article this month. So here’s a quick list of things that have amazed me recently. Are we virtual yet? I’m far from the first person to find NotebookLM amazing, and I certainly won’t be the last. I did a simple experiment: I pointed it at two of my recent posts, “ Think Better ” and “ Henry Ford Does AI.
In the age of information overload, it’s easy to get lost in the large amount of content available online. YouTube offers billions of videos, and the internet is filled with articles, blogs, and academic papers. With such a large volume of data, it’s often difficult to extract useful insights without spending hours reading and watching. While the ROI of any given AI project remains uncertain , one thing is becoming clear: CIOs will be spending a whole lot more on the technology in the years ahead. Research firm IDC projects worldwide spending on technology to support AI strategies will reach $337 billion in 2025 — and more than double to $749 billion by 2028. Those bullish numbers don’t surprise many CIOs, as IT leaders from nearly every vertical are rolling out generative AI proofs of concept, with some already in production.
The landscape of big data management has been transformed by the rising popularity of open table formats such as Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, and Linux Foundation Delta Lake. These formats, designed to address the limitations of traditional data storage systems, have become essential in modern data architectures. As organizations adopt various open table formats to suit their specific needs, the demand for interoperability between these formats has grown significantly.

I recently attended Infor’s Velocity Summit , designed to showcase the latest versions of its CloudSuite ERP software. Also center stage were Infor’s advances in artificial intelligence and process mining as well as its environmental, social and governance application and supply chain optimization enhancements. The company provides industry-specific enterprise software that enhances business performance and operational efficiency.
Imagine chatting with a virtual assistant that remembers not just your last question but the entire flow of your conversation—personal details, preferences, even follow-up queries. This memory transforms chatbots from simple Q&A machines into sophisticated conversational partners, capable of handling complex topics over multiple interactions. In this article, we dive into the fascinating world of […] The post Enhancing AI Conversations with LangChain Memory appeared first on Analytics

JP Morgan Chase president Daniel Pinto says the bank expects to see up to $2 billion in value from its AI use cases, up from a $1.5 billion estimate in May. And speaking at the Barclays Global Financial Services conference in September, he said gen AI will have a big impact in improving processes and efficiencies. The company has already rolled out a gen AI assistant and is also looking to use AI and LLMs to optimize every process.
In this post, we show how to use Amazon Kinesis Data Streams to buffer and aggregate real-time streaming data for delivery into Amazon OpenSearch Service domains and collections using Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion. You can use this approach for a variety of use cases, from real-time log analytics to integrating application messaging data for real-time search.
Large Language Models (LLMs) will be at the core of many groundbreaking AI solutions for enterprise organizations. Here are just a few examples of the benefits of using LLMs in the enterprise for both internal and external use cases: Optimize Costs. LLMs deployed as customer-facing chatbots can respond to frequently asked questions and simple queries.
Customer support calls hold a wealth of information, but finding the time to manually comb through these recordings for insights isn’t easy. Imagine if you could instantly turn these long recordings into clear summaries, track how the sentiment shifts throughout the call, and even get tailored insights based on how you want to analyze the […] The post Building an AI-Powered Tool for Customer Call Analysis appeared first on Analytics Vidhya.

There’s a lot of noise surrounding the ability of AI agents to connect to your tools, systems and data. But building an AI application into a reliable, secure workflow agent isn’t as simple as plugging in an API. As an engineering leader, it can be challenging to make sense of this evolving landscape, but agent tooling provides such high value that it’s critical we figure out how to move forward.
Saudi Arabia has announced a 100 billion USD initiative aimed at establishing itself as a major player in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and advanced technology. The program, known as Project Transcendence, marks a significant push by the Kingdom to develop a robust AI ecosystem that can rival leading tech hubs, including neighbouring United Arab Emirates and other global technology centers.
Amazon OpenSearch Service is a fully managed service offered by AWS that enables you to deploy, operate, and scale OpenSearch domains effortlessly. We are excited to announce the acquisition of Octopai , a leading data lineage and catalog platform that provides data discovery and governance for enterprises to enhance their data-driven decision making. Cloudera’s mission since its inception has been to empower organizations to transform all their data to deliver trusted, valuable, and predictive insights.
The most powerful VLMs available today remain proprietary, limiting open research exploration. Open models often lag due to dependency on synthetic data generated by proprietary models, restricting true openness. Molmo, a sophisticated vision-language model, seeks to bridge this gap by creating high-quality multimodal capabilities built from open datasets and independent training methods.
Documents are the backbone of enterprise operations, but they are also a common source of inefficiency. From buried insights to manual handoffs, document-based workflows can quietly stall decision-making and drain resources. For large, complex organizations, legacy systems and siloed processes create friction that AI is uniquely positioned to resolve.
Analyst reaction to Thursday’s release by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of a framework designed to ensure safe and secure deployment of AI in critical infrastructure is decidedly mixed. Where did it come from? According to a release issued by DHS, “this first-of-its kind resource was developed by and for entities at each layer of the AI supply chain: cloud and compute providers, AI developers, and critical infrastructure owners and operators — as well as the civil society and publ
In today’s data-rich environment, the challenge isn’t just collecting data but transforming it into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. For organizations, this means adopting a data-driven approach—one that replaces gut instinct with factual evidence and predictive insights. BI consulting services play a central role in this shift, equipping businesses with the frameworks and tools to extract true value from their data.
